A full-zip jacket for wet weather, cut long and square through the body so it goes over a layer without pulling at the shoulders.

Unlined on purpose. A lining adds weight, hides the construction, and traps heat this jacket is better off venting. The wax is dry and low-oil, so it won't transfer to what's underneath. It'll mark where you fold it and lighten where you wear it — that's the finish doing what it's supposed to do.

Waxed cotton started as treated sailcloth — oil worked into canvas so it sheds water instead of soaking it up. It became standard working outerwear in the Pacific Northwest. Noveske builds in Oregon, and this jacket is made for that weather.
