We have softshell touchpoints where it contacts your mouth and around the zippers and finally used nice satin for the interior hood, so it feels nice around your head and on your hair. The interior of the shell makes it much easier to layer without the fleece lining. Think of the Gen. II as a heavy-duty technical shell garment.
